The next morning Arashi woke up in an unusually depressed mood. She walked into the living room, sat down on the couch and stared at the TV until Riku and Kagi woke up.
"Are you sure you are alright Arashi?" Kagi asked concernedly.
Arashi just nodded her head slowly as a response.
"She needs to see a doctor." Riku said as she felt Arashi's forehead for her temperature.
"I'll be alright. Lets just get this over with." Arashi turned her attention to the door. "How many more days do we have?"
"Ummm...four?" Riku counted her fingers.
"That's plenty of time. We are attacking on day six." Arashi's eyes became cold and lifeless as she continued staring at the door.
Riku and Kagi walked into the kitchen, where they began to cook breakfast.
"Are you sure it's okay to let her go on like this? I mean, with out any medical attention?" Kagi stirred the eggs that were cooking in a buttered pan.
"What happens when we try to explain to the doctor that we are a band of girl who's job it to go from planet to planet to destroy them? These earth people are much less aware of things than you can believe." Riku placed three bacon strips on a plate.
"Then what do we need to do?" Kagi asked as she dished out the eggs.
"If we wait patiently, she'll be overcome by the evil side in her. She'll have no problems after that. Right now she's just struggling with her conscience." Riku picked out three forks and placed them on the sides of the plates.
"And we are going to let her be overcome by this evilness? Why? She has such a pure innocent heart! We can't let that happen!" Kagi yelled.
"The only other choice is death. I'd much rather see her become emotionless in her job than die because of it." Riku placed the plates on the table and called Arashi in.
Arashi stared at her plate of steaming hot eggs and bacon and sighed. "I'm not really hungry right now."
"Please eat something." Kagi begged.
"I said I'm not hungry." Arashi gave a very serious glance to Kagi.
"After we eat we are going to practice." Riku said while blowing on her eggs.
The three girls ate the rest of their food in silence and then cleaned up. The three girls pulled out their bracelets and held them in the air.
"Key one! Storm power make-up!" Arashi yelled as lightning and dark clouds surrounded her. She emerged from the scene as Sailor Fury Storm.
"Key Two! Fire power make-up!" Kagi tossed her bracelet in front of her and was surrounded by a ring of fire as the bracelet disappeared into the ring. She emerged from the fire as Sailor Blazing Fire.
"Key three! Earth power make-up!" Riku called out and was encased in a whirlwind of leaves. The leaves cleared and Sailor Reckless Earth stood in place.
"So where to now? Practice outside?" Arashi asked as she clenched her fists.
"Let's go look for some of those monsters that have been popping up." Kagi suggested.
Arashi nodded and ran out the front door. She turned the corner and ran down the street looking for a good fight. Riku and Kagi followed a-ways behind and caught up to Arashi as she blasted an evil-looking wolf with two bolts of lightning.
"This place is full of monsters!" Riku laughed.
Arashi turned around quickly. "This is not the time for fun and games! Let's get to work!"
Riku stepped back as the threatening voice of the little girl cut into her ears. "She's not in a good mood."
"I can tell." Kagi sighed and ran up to the wolf.
"Brush Fire!" A bow of lightning shot at the wolf, who began howling in pain as he was burned.
"Good job Kagi!" Riku applauded.
"RIKU! SHUT YOUR MOUTH!" Arashi turned to Riku and held her hands in the air. They were quickly surrounded by a gray aura as two lightning bolts raced towards them. Without hesitation, Kagi ran up to Arashi and sweep-kicked her, sending her to the ground.
"Don't you DARE start that!" Kagi said as she held Arashi against the pavement.
"WHY THE HELL NOT?!" Arashi screamed.
"What is wrong with you!? Riku is your friend!" Kagi began crying. "Was this the kind of evil you were talking about Riku!? WAS IT?!"
"No! It isn't!" Riku walked up to the pair and looked at Arashi with worried eyes.
"What is wrong with you Ara?" Kagi asked, tears streaming down her face.
Arashi bit her lip as her eyes also filled with tears. "I don't...I'm sorry."
"We have got to do something about this." Riku said as she picked Arashi up off the ground. "This is tearing us apart."
