Part V - The plan

The next day Arashi decided to make an early start and go for a walk at 6AM. She pulled her shoestrings tight, grabbed her keys and walked quietly out the front door.

"We need to shut ourselves off from the outside." Arashi mimicked Kagi rudely. "I can't do that."

She walked into the downtown area of Tokyo and accidentally bumped into a woman on the street. "Sorry Ma'am!" Arashi helped the lady up and dusted her off. The lady screamed and ran past her. "Kind of a weird thank you." Arashi laughed.

Continuing deeper into the city, Arashi saw blue sparks spurt out behind a very tall building. "Let me guess, more monsters. Damn, this city never gets any rest!" Arashi began running until she spotted where the sparks had come from.

"Jungle Thunder!" Sailor Juno whaled as a combination of lightning and leaves darted towards a strange floating fish. The leaves cut through the fish while the lightning knocked him out.

"This place is so weird!" Arashi yelled as she placed her hand over her bracelet. She watched Juno and Ceres give each other high-fives and then take off, jumping onto the top of a very large building.

Arashi rolled her eyes and followed on the ground. The two jumped off of the next building over, without their fuku on.

"Hey there girls." Arashi smiled as she held out her hand. "My name's Arashi, what are yours?"

"JunJun." the girl with green hair replied.

"CereCere." the pink haired girl leaned back on her feet and shifted forward again.

"Didn't you come with Princess Chibiusa and Hotaru on the bus?" JunJun asked.

"Yeah, why? You her secret agents or something?" Arashi smiled politely and began walking down the street.

"You could say that." CereCere giggled.

"We wanted to know because Hotaru seemed a bit shaken up after you left." JunJun smiled concernedly.

"Yeah, and then she took Princess Chibiusa and Queen Usagi into a room privately." CereCere nodded.

"Oh, I was just asking her if she liked that Sailor Saturn they show on the news." Arashi slyly replied, trying to gather information.

"Yeah! And her glaive is so awesome! Did you know it could destroy the entire planet if she wanted it to?" CereCere gleamed.

"I see, so when does she use it?" Arashi asked.

"Usually when someone attacks the palace." JunJun smiled.

Arashi nodded in agreement and turned around. "Well, I have to go now, I'm kinda tired."

"Alright! See you later!" JunJun and CereCere waved good-bye.

"ARASHI! WHERE WERE YOU?!" Riku yelled as Arashi walked into the apartment.

"Gathering information about Saturn from 'JunJun' and 'CereCere', if you don't mind." Arashi retorted.

"We were so worried about you! You left your cell-phone here." Kagi shook the phone in Arashi's face.

"Oops, my mistake, sorry." Arashi walked into the kitchen and swung open the kitchen pantry. She happily pulled out a bag of chips and tore it open, devouring it in seconds.

"We went to the store yesterday, the check came in the mail." Riku smiled.

"So tell us what you learned." Kagi begged the brunette.

Arashi went into the living room and sat on the couch. "I learned that Saturn uses her 'Silence Glaive' on anyone who tries to attack the palace, and that there are tons of monsters here. " Arashi sat and waited for someone to say something.

"What purpose does this information serve? It would be important if we were trying to steal the Silence Glaive. But we aren't trying to do that are we?" Kagi shook her head.

"This does tell us that in order for her to reveal her senshi form we have to attack the palace somehow." Riku suggested.

"Uhhh.....Yeah, that's what I was getting at." Arashi smiled innocently.

"So, another battle with some senshi who would die for their world." Kagi said gloomily.

Riku and Arashi sighed.

"Okay, well, we should start preparing for our attack. I want everyone's room to be spotless and I'd like it if we polished our bracelets. After that, we should practice targeting, power-ups and revival teqniques." Kagi said as she busily ran about the apartment, cleaning things.

Arashi and Riku followed silently and the house was done without a minute to spare before bedtime.

Before Arashi turned out her light, she pulled a picture out from under her pillow. She traced the edges of her family portrait. "If I ever find myself back home because of my job............I'd sooner die."

She tucked the picture back under pillow and turned out the light.
