Arashi stared blankly out of the window of the small apartment. She began drifting off when she felt a hand land softly on her shoulder.
"Arashi, you really need to stay awake. Riku and I were planning on going for a walk later. We'd like it if you'd join us." the soft voice beconed Arashi to send a smile to the girl.
"Thanks Kagi, for inviting me." Arashi replied cooly. The small brunette stood up from her spot in her chair and streched out. She walked into the kitchen and opened the small pantry to see what was inside it.
"Did our money come yet?" Arashi asked, her eyes falling upon three bare shelves. "My three dollars won't really buy enough for all of us."
"No, our parent's still need the address to this apartment." Kagi replied as she listened to Arashi's stomach grumble. "Don't worry about using your money for us."
"I wish I could get a job. Then I could buy lunch." Arashi walked up the stairs to her bedroom, where she found Riku looking through her oak dresser. "If you need something, just ask."
"I'm sorry Arashi; I was trying to find a pair of socks that I lost. I need them to match my outfit I'm wearing tomorrow." Riku replied as she pulled out a pair of blue socks from the top drawer.
"It's alright." Arashi nodded. Riku smiled and left the room, closing the door behind her. Arashi found herself alone, with a moment to spare on finding her bracelet that she dared not tell her friends that they were missing. She searched all over her room, until she found it under her bed. She then quickly put it on her wrist and slid her feet into her pair of flip-flops.
"I'm ready to go girls!" she called as she hopped down the stairs and into the living room. She was greeted only by the voices coming from the television. She walked around and saw that the news was on, and on it was a live report of a battle between the Sailor Scouts and a monster. Arashi's mouth dropped open as she ran over to the phone. She saw a note on it that read:
'Dear Arashi,Arashi sighed. "They thought I was sleeping." she walked back over to the television and waited for the mention of a location.
"Reporting live from across from the pick nick area at Lira Park. Please stay tuned for the developing story." a reported said quickly as she turned to watch the battle.
Arashi grabbed her keys, the note and her jacket and sped out of the apartment. She ran the entire two miles to the park. When she got there she saw a girl in a green outfit with odd-looking hair blast at a human-shaped live pile of mud.
"What the hell is going on here?" Arashi said to herself as she looked for her friends. Beyond the crowed she saw Kagi running her fingers over her own golden bracelet in nervousness.
"Kagi! Riku! What the hell is going on here?" Arashi ran over to her friends.
"There are these Sailor Scouts, Super Sailor Chibimoon, Sailor Pallas, Juno, Veres, and Ceres. I didn't catch the black haired girl's name yet." Riku pointed at a small girl in a purple outfit, then continued. "They are battling these monsters that keep appearing."
"But I didn't think there were that many scouts like...." Kagi held her hand over Arashi's mouth as she watched the battle.
"Shut up, we don't want to get ourselves in trouble." Kagi lifted her hand from the small girl's mouth and touched her bracelet in her pocket. "Let's follow them."
The six Sailor Scouts ran through the crowd and disappeared around the corner. Arashi took the lead as they ran after them. Once they passed the corner, Arashi saw a ribbon off of one of the girl's outfit as she ran behind a building. Arashi followed them quickly, but when she looked, she only saw six ordinary girls talking as they waited at the bus-stop.
Arashi gave up hope when Riku began laughing. "You don't see it? How do these girls hide? The one with the pink piggy-tails is waaay to obvious."
Arashi smirked and walked slowly up to the girls and pretended to be waiting for the bus as the other two looked on. "I'm Arashi. So where are you headed?"
"We're getting ready to go home." The pink haired girl smiled. "I'm Chibiusa, by the way."
"That's an odd name," Arashi giggled., "But it is pretty." She blushed as she saw Chibiusa was insulted.
"Who's your friend?" Arashi asked politely, looking at the black haired girl sitting next to her.
"Hotaru. She a little shy sometimes." Chibiusa replied. "So where are you going?"
Arashi froze as her brain quickly searched for an answer to give Chibiusa. "Oh nowhere, my sisters said I should go and look around town. I'm kinda new to the area."
Chibiusa turned to Hotaru and asked her a question, then turned back to Arashi. "Would you like to come to my house for a little bit? My parent's can give you a formal welcome to the town."
"Um...." Arashi gave a quick glance to Kagi, who nodded. "Sure! I'd love to go." Arashi smiled. The bus stopped and the seven girls went into the bus. Arashi dug around in her pocket and saw her three dollars.
"The fair is $1.50." The driver said slowly. Arashi gave her money to the driver and went to sit in the back of the bus. Chibiusa offered a seat to Arashi and she gladly accepted.
"I hope she gets a good amount of information about these girls." Kagi turned back down the corner, closely followed by Riku.
