Part Five - New Friends

Kagi, Riku and Arashi met up with the group of four a few minutes later at the Square. It was a beautiful place with covered benches and the most wonderful oak and apple trees anywhere. It was lit up with beautiful lights that covered the trees, for it was growing dark. There was also a brilliant water fountain surrounded by engraved tiles in the center of the square with tiled walkways out to the four roads that surrounded it.

Arashi watched as the four girls greeted another girl with brown hair that had black tips. She was just a bit shorter than Akiko and was very pretty. "That must be Sailor Dark Star." Arashi noted.

"It would seem that way." Riku said as she tied her hair up in her purple scrunshie.

Then Akiko ran over to them. "Hey girls, don't be shy! Come meet Kashoku!"

"Yeah, don't worry, I don't bite." Kashoku winked as she walked up behind Akiko and put her arm around her.

"Hi Kash, this is Muharu Arashi, Gekishin Rikuchi and Ushiro Kagi." Akiko indroduced them.

"Yeah, they are senshi also. The Mai senshi to be exact." Hoshi wispered to Kashoku.

"Oh really, that's a suprise." Kashoku took her arm off of Akiko and went over to Kagi, whom she looked up and down slowly. "You don't look like Kara, but you are the only one with blonde hair. Are you the new Sailor Reego?"

"No, I am." Arashi stepped forward and gave a threatening glance to Kashoku.

"Oh! What a tiny squirt to follow in Kara's footsteps. How cute." Kashoku patted Arashi on the head.

Arashi pushed Kashoku's hand away quickly. "Just because I'm small doesn't mean anything."

"Ah, a little Miss. Attitude. Even more cute." Kashoku said with a hint of intimidation in her expression. "I have to be going now, nice to meet you ladies."

Kashoku walked over down the north sidewalk and off into the city, Meian following right with her as Shourai come over to join Arashi and the gang.

Arashi turned around and growled. "She has some nerve. I'm not that much of a pushover."

Akiko placed her hands on Arashi's shoulder and turned her around. "Listen Arashi, it's nothing against you. Kashoku and Kara were rivals, even though they were diffrent classes of senshi. They were very good friends but the biggest rivals in the twin systems."

"Oh, so now it's on my shoulders to be as good as her? That's a bunch of crap. I'mn way better than her and I know it just by looking at her." Arashi rolled her eyes.

"Please don't undersestimate anyone. You can get hurt badly that way." Akiko replied as she smiled sweetly.

"Well now girls," Hoshi began "Meian and Kashoku are having a meeting, and so this gives us plenty of hangout time with each other. How does an evening movie sound?"

"YAY! POPCORN!" Kagi squeeled.

"Okay then, I guess that's setteled." Riku said as she lead the way to the nearest theatre.

Walking by many clubs, full of the Friday nightlife, Meian and Kashoku were walking to Kash's home, and also discussing about the Mai senshi.

"So...if they've returned, does that mean Solaris has also awakened?" Kashoku asked Meian as she watched a group of guys check them out.

"I know she is awake, we battled her Friday during school But I'm positive that she didn't awaken because of the Mai senshi. They are to brainless right now to understand anything even less find the Chizuishou without telling us." Meian shook her head, unpleased immencely by the whole situation.

"I know what you mean. The Mai Senshi were only awakened because damn Akurei came after them again. I wish she had just left them alone and let them lead normal lives." Kashoku untied the jacket from around her waist and put it on.

"Yeah, because you know what it means. We still have to tell them about Solaris and that damn Chizuishou. It sucks that it causes so much un-needed problems." Meian streched her arms into the air.

"I hope they find out soon what exactly they are getting into, I don't really know if Arashi can handle it." Kashoku teased. "I can't wait till I get the change to challenge her to a duel, I want to see how powerful she is compared to Kara."

"Ha, you don't stand a chance against her, she's going to have way stronger attacks than Kara." Meian and Kashoku finally arrived at Kashoku's house and Kashoku unlocked the door.

"Why do you say that?" Kashoku asked as she hung her jacket in the closet.

"Because she was an Apocalyptic Senshi." Meian replied.

"Let's see 'Invasion of the Seventh Plague'!" Hoshi and Shouri stood opposite Kagi and Arashi, arguing over which movie to see.

"No! We want to see 'Let's Get Going'!" Arashi and Kagi yelled.

Akiko and Riku laughed. "Since we are the oldest, we've decided that we are seeing 'Monsters in the Closet'." Riku nodded.

"It's supposed to be a very good suspence movie. You all are old enough, even though you don't act like it, to see the movie, and bescides, you aren't paying for it, are you?" Akiko handed over $50 to the lady in the booth and received five good tickets for the movie.

"The movie starts at 11:30 and it's 11:00, so we have enough time to grab a few drinks and such before the movie. We should also get a good seat."

"Okay, we'll go get the.." Hoshi started, "POPCORN!!!" Kagi finished as she bounced all over the place.

"Is she always like that?" Akiko asked Riku as she pointed to Kagi.

"No, not usually, we normally don't even get to see movies. We are to busy..." Akiko put her hand over Riku's lips.

"Don't say it and don't think about it right now, okay?" Akiko smiled sweetly as her caring eyes looked back over Kagi and the other girls. "It's good for her to be like this."

"Come on guys! The movie is starting!" Arashi and Hoshi grabbed Riku and Akiko by the hands and drug them behind as they followed Kagi and Shouri, who had the popcorn and drinks.

As soon as the movie was over, the four girls said their goodbyes and went their separate ways; Hoshi, Shouri and Akiko to one of Hoshi's friend's house and Arashi, Kagi and Riku to Riku's house, where they spent the night.
